yesterday’s daily log

Got up at 1 pm today. Siarl and I stayed up until about 4 am last night. I got up and gave our goat baby (the one that sleeps, and often poops and pees, in my bed with me) some water from her bottle. We still haven’t taught her how to drink from a dish.

I had some story ideas last night before bed and one this morning from a dream that I just wrote down. I also hadn’t finished the daily log from yesterday so I just finished that up and published it.

Now it’s time for breakfast.

It’s now the next day. I went to bed around 5 am and got up around 2 pm.

Here are the goings on for yesterday:

After my breakfast, Siarl got up and I made them breakfast. Then I had to drive to town and get medicine for Siarl as well as more adderrall for me and some groceries.

When I got home I felt worn out and over-coffeed. My heart was beating too fast and too loud. I sat in the car for a half hour and finished reading John Scalzi’s The B-Team. I really enjoyed it. It gave me that Star Trek fix that I’ve been missing.

Weirdly, the few Star Trek novels I’ve read, or attempted to read, don’t have the same feeling I get from watching a good Trek episode. Scalzi’s book hit the spot.

After reading I emptied the car of groceries, fed and watered the dog, goats, and cats. Then I got a bug up my butt about doing more cleaning. I swept a fair bit of the house, which was a good cardio workout for me. I also made dinner and a few other meals, watched some videos, went on Twitter (something I hadn’t done in a good long while) and hung out with Siarl.

By the time I was done with all that I was too sleepy to write or draw.

So I fell of the horse yesterday. I’m not giving up just because of that. I’m getting back on that goddamn horse today.
